Got Milk?

  Looking for dairy farms. Not to be found as of tonight. We have seen a number of signs and even found some evidence on the map of lots of Milk.  Looked and looked. Nothing yet.

   Lots of Charolais, White Faces, Angus, and others. No Holsteins, Jerseys, or other breeds. Just have to wonder. Does it have anything to with Lewis and Clark being in the area in 1804?  I guess not.

  Oh well, maybe it is just the Milk River?  Thought it had to do with lots of milk producers.

It has lot of liquids in the Spring and Summer, locals say dust can fly when the fish go downstream in the late fall.

Wolf Point has lots and lots of Native American History. It is on a very very large reservation.

The rail traffic is prevalent. Amtrak also used it today.

Lots of grain elevators. Some mustard fields today and yesterday.

Many hay bales and ranches.  Irrigation.

Had a strong storm go through snapping off electric poles 10 -20 feet above the ground.

Must have many ranches out of power for a while. Looked like more than a mile of downed lines.

Havre, MT. here we come.....
