Gateway to the West

   St. Louis -the Gateway West, also the starting point for the famous Lewis and Clark Expedition.

Now St Louis built the very impressive Archway to Celebrate their spot in history.

The Mighty Mississippi from the top of the Arch at 630 feet.

Stainless steel covering 1/2 inch thick. Lots of very special engineering

to make it all happen. Built in the 1960's it was a marvel.
