Pilated Woodpecker......!

  Several have been seen here and there. Now we have one on our front yard and WINDOW! This Pilated Woodpecker is maybe a bit more common than they used to be. They may be scattered from Minnesota to Florida

                  Then he took a leap to the front yard.  Crow sized, he makes for an impressive sight. He was seen on the oak in our back yard, as well as across the street on an dead pine.  Perhaps we can find a nest!
